This is only a glimpse of the 3 months Katie Joy spent serving the least of these in the rural, northwest mountains of Haiti in 2013. Katie never thought she would have an interest in even a short term missions trip, but when God called her to Haiti her answer was "Yes, Lord." Within a few short months God provided the funds, arranged every detail, and she was on her way. Falling in love with the Haitian people, culture, and simplicity, she is excited to see how God will continue to use her overseas! We would LOVE to go to Haiti as a family and/or other nations to love on God's people and share the gospel of Jesus Christ!
During the summer of July 2019, Andrew went on a seven day missions trip to Puerto Rico. He had the opportunity to share the gospel, with the help of an interpreter, with people on the street while also inviting them to a block party that several churches joined together to throw for the community. He also helped with flooring, basic maintenance at local churches and preparing kits of food to hand out at the block party. Andrew had a lot of fun serving and experiencing the culture. We are continuing to pray for the people in Puerto Rico.
